Spring Style With Vionic Shoes

Hoorah for the arrival of spring and the ditching of tights, boots and chunky layers! As much as I do love winter fashion I’m super happy to be back in my florals and digging out the sunglasses and straw bags! Before we’re right into the full on heat wave of the British summer (fingers crossed!) that warrants strappy sandals and flip flops I’ve discovered the perfect in-between shoe from Vionic that I know will be a versatile staple in my wardrobe this season.

I discovered Vionic when one of their representatives reached out to me asking if I would be interested in a collaboration. To be honest I was sold at the word ‘shoes’ – anyone who knows me will be aware of my bulging under-bed storage which is full to bursting with footwear for all seasons! What makes Vionic stand out from the crowd though is their tagline ‘style doesn’t have to hurt’. The range features built-in support which is contoured to fit the natural curves of your feet providing comfort whilst helping to promote natural alignment. A stylish footwear brand that even has the backing of the American Podiatric Medical Association? Who am I to argue with science?

The Vionic range of sandals, heels, wedges, flats, boots, trainers and slippers have all been designed with style and comfort in mind, helping to reduce common aches and pains from the ground up. As someone who suffers with poor natural alignment (I once visited a chiropractor whose main advice for me was to wear trainers at every opportunity – not very fashion blogger chic!) I leapt at the chance to wear their designs, especially as they cater for half sized feet like mine (a nightmare to shop for – if you’re in the same boat you’ll understand!).

It was a tricky decision choosing which pair of shoes to order but I loved the classic, timeless style of the Adeline slide. The caramel colour of the leather upper was versatile yet elegant with the addition of the metallic horsebit across the top adding a quirky edge. I’m definitely eyeing up a pair of their Maris wedges for summer as even their heels and wedges contain ‘elevated support technology’ for all day comfort.

You can check out the full range over on the Vionic website and read more about the technology behind the style here.
