A few months ago I was casually browsing Twitter when I happened upon the Just Add Blog feed. Dara (it’s creator) was launching a monthly subscription package specially created for bloggers. I was certainly intrigued and asked for more information about what would be included in the monthly emails. Dara was quick to send over a message asking if I would like to receive a complimentary JABbox so that I could have a nosey at the content and post a review of my thoughts – I was definitely keen and excited for my first delivery!
JABbox aims to deliver the tools that any blogger may need such as how-to guides, stock photos for your blog page and social media channels, planners, printables and mini-courses. The best part of this monthly subscription is that the JAB contributors are social media savvy creatives and fellow bloggers, so you’re getting advice and resources from those in the know! The JABbox subscription should hopefully keep you on track with your blogging goals whilst also helping you to save time and money through using it’s templates, fonts and planning tools.
I’ve now received two months worth of the JABbox and I have to say it’s been a little bit of a mixed bag for me. I do love the stock photos and social media planning tools, however there were a couple of resources (such a Twitter inspirational quotes and customisable email signatures) that I perhaps wouldn’t actually use. I can see how JABbox is trying to appeal to a range of bloggers though and actually what suits one person is not always going to suit another! For a blogger who is starting out or looking to connect with like-minded folks for some advice and guidance I think it could be a valuable resource and being priced at $10 a month it’s hardly going to break the bank! It’s also perhaps worth noting here that some of the resources (such as customisable logos) were only compatible with Photoshop (not a programme I yet use unfortunately!) so perhaps I didn’t feel the full effect of their impact, however they would definitely be helpful for creating gorgeous visual content!
I’ve included some previews of my favourite content that has been included in the JABbox subscription over the last two months and if you would like to read more about signing up for a 1 month, 3 month or 6 month subscription then head on over to their website by clicking on the banner above (please note that this is an affiliate link).

These rose gold Instagram templates are simple and bang on trend – I love their clean and minimal style. The same goes for the minimal blog template (right up my street!) and these are just a few examples of the gorgeous stock photos that would definitely come in handy.

This weekly Pinterest planner was one of my favourite resources as Pinterest is my newest social media adventure (and is super confusing to a newbie!) – this should help me to tackle it step-by-step! Next, everyone needs a daily planner to help keep them on track and I loved the simple style of this tick box page. Finally this Facebook Group printable planner will help you monitor all of your shared threads.
What do you think of the JABbox? Will you be giving in a whirl in October? Let me know in the comments!
